Aljoya House

Grand Tortoise Limestone™ establishes a theme that runs throughout public spaces in this tiered residential facility for senior citizens. Soft enough for hand finishing and dense enough to withstand wear and tear, limestone was a great choice for both interior and exterior stonework.

At the front entrance, a thermal finish applied to the veneer highlights the embedded fossils, a unique feature of this stone. Once inside, Limestone forms an elegant molding at the base of the lobby walls. Outside the main entrance, vertical surfaces of short exterior walls carry a lychee hand finish. The Limestone walls are topped with stone slabs edged with an adze finish.
